The 5 Stages

Yes, the famous five, they call it the five stages of dying, I prefer to call it life. Denial, Anger, Bargaining, Depression, Acceptance. It always happen, sometimes, not only in dying. It happen in relationships, school, work, everyday, even in the simplest situations. Take for example work, you deny that you have the worst job there is (although you have this icky little feeling that you do, and when you finaly realize it you get angry, with everything, your boss, officemates, the job itself (Anger). But somehow you realize that there's nothing you can do, it is your job, you should love it, your bargaining to somehow better off your current situation. Finally you get depressed, your doing your job from bad to worse. Then you move on, you accept that the job is not for you, you move on, you find another job. Same goes for relationships, and school. It's life =)

Modern Day Carpenter

Yup, that's me, I'm your tech-o carpenter. I am here to setup your system, put a scaffolding to your database, setup your garbage collection, security, generate your daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, have your tech-o warehouse ready, and ensure that your tech-o house is working just fine. I have tools, some of it open source, some of it I have to buy. I utilize these to create my "craft". Yes, craftmanship, just like the old masons from the past, I care about my so called crafts, my kung-fu, my sp, whatever they call it nowadays. Along with people like me, we buid projects, we have architects, engineer, builders just like the physical world. We care about each other's crafts. In twenty or so years from now, the way we build tech-o houses probably would be different, but the craftmanship we hold will still be honored.

A Fine Summer Day!

Fine?! Nakamputcha ang init! Para akong nasa loob ng oven.

Hi, musta pala hehe, xenxa na ngaun lang ulit ako nakapagblog, ganyan talaga pag sobrang busy.... updates updates

Hmm...ano nga ba, sige eto

May, 2004 CSSP Computer Lab

Day before my birthday, natanggap ako sa CSSP Computer Lab as a Technical Support with the help of barry (frat brod ko). Dun ko nameet sila Ate Rose, Ate Ever, Sir Rye and Tina.

Staff: Hmmm... ahh ganun ba?

Ex. Nag acquire kami ng 40 Computers na walang Hard Disk (*para sa mga hindi technically inclined, kelangan po ng Hard Disk para malagyan ng Windows or Linux or BSD or Solaris or kahit anong OS yung Computer). So nagsetup ako ng server na may support for TFTP, Netbooting, NFS para pag boot ng computer *request ng IP, *request ng boot img sa Server, *login, *and wala! may linux ka na! hehehe mas madali pang magupdate. Masaya pa kasi madaming toys sa Lab.

Sept. 2005 nasa computer lab pa rin ako, nagsubmit ako ng resume sa JobsDB, nung night na rin na yon, nakareceive ako ng call from GSI, may interview daw ako kinabukasan. So punta naman si mokong kinabukasan (naka t-shirt pa at naka snikers), nung gabi ding yon nahire na ako as Systems Engineer. So lipat naman ako. Madami pang mga nangyari in between, pero saka ko na sasabihin.

Kompyuter
